Abstract

Secondary title: WIRELESS MICROCONTROLLER BASED CHESS
Secondary abstract: The core of this diploma thesis represents a design of microcontroller system that enables playing the chess game on two respective units. Both units can communicate in a wireless fashion, and without an internet connection. Each unit comprises of a graphic device, an LCD display, and a touchscreen, which enables monitoring the game, as well as the execution of the moves. Thus conceived system also enables saving the entire game process onto an SD card, as well as reproduction (replay) of the already played chess games on the device itself. The game system was conceived within Arduino development environment.
