Abstract

Secondary title: POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL SENSORS
Secondary abstract: The aim of this thesis was to develop a power supply system for industrial sensors based on digital adjustable and battery powered DC/DC converter. The system was designed as an upgrade of wireless communication module which provides adjustable voltage for various industrial sensors. The conversion of battery voltage to an adjustable output voltage was made with boost converter and a digital potentiometer in the converters's feedback loop. For adjusting the resistance of the digital potentiometer (and thus the output voltage) a microcontroller was used. A windows application was developed with the help of which it is possible to communicate with wireless module via Bluetooth connection. From the results of the performed measurements, it was concluded that the realized boost converter largely corresponds with the project specifications. In the end, possible improvements and upgrades were given.
