Abstract

Finančna kriza je močno prizadela celoten svet. Nenadzorovana in hitra rast finančnega sektorja in v tem okviru tradicionalnih bank je imela za posledico nastanek globalne finančne krize. Kot alternativa klasičnemu tradicionalnemu bančništvu je v tem obdobju v ospredje stopilo socialno bančništvo, ki je zasnovano na drugačnih načelih in vrednotah. V magistrski nalogi smo predstavili socialno bančništvo, način in pomen njegovega delovanja ter s pomočjo finančne analize analizirali poslovanje izbranih socialnih bank pred in v času finančne krize z namenom ugotoviti, ali se je poslovanje socialnih bank v času finančne krize izboljšalo ali poslabšalo.

Secondary title: Social banking during the financial crisis
Secondary abstract: The financial crisis has severely affected the entire world. Uncontrolled and rapid growth of the financial sector and traditional banks has resulted in the emergence of the global financial crisis. During this period the social banking became more attractive and in many cases appeared as an alternative to the traditional banks. Social banking is based on different principles and values compared with traditional banks. In this work we present the social banking, the method and the importance of its operation. Based on financial analysis of the selected social banks we analysed their financial operations before and during the financial crisis in order to determine if the operation of the social banks during the financial crisis has improved or deteriorated.
