Abstract

Register vodi in vzdržuje Geodetska uprava Republike Slovenije.

Secondary title: LEGAL REGULATION OF THE REAL ESTATE REGISTRY
Secondary abstract: Real Estate Register is a public multipurpose record listing immovable property, whose purpose is to provide information that reflects the realities of the real estates in nature. The Register is kept by the Water Surveying and Mapping Authority of the Republic of Slovenia and comprises a wide variety of information about the real state of real estates, such as their location, the year of construction, land use allocation, the year of renovation of the roof or façade, the heating mode of the building, the credit rating of the land, and the like. One of the most important information is a generalized market value of the property, providing for the assessment base of the future property tax, which will also be used for other purposes determined by law. The register is constantly updated by the data captured from other official records, through the submission of a questionnaire by the property owners, and by the techniques and methods of space inventory, carried out by the Surveying and Mapping Authority.
