Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema predstavitev digitalne televizije, njen nastanek in razvoj ter ponudbo in možnosti spremljanja klasične televizije v sodobni tehniki. Razvoj digitalizacije je napredoval s pomočjo interneta, ki uporabnika popelje v različno dodelane rešitve s prihodom IPTV. Opisani so začetki IPTV, njeno delovanje ter razvoj na področju spremljanja televizije z vključitvijo spleta. V delu je predstavljena zasnova tematskega multimedijskega zaslona, ki uporabniku ponuja sodobne tematske aplikacije, vezane na izbrano aplikacijsko domeno. Te nudijo uporabniku širok spekter povezanih informacij in mu omogočajo učinkovito interakcijo.

Secondary abstract: This Diploma thesis includes the presentation of digital television, creation and development thereof, and possibilities for watching classic television utilising contemporary techniques. The development of digitalisation has been accompanied by the progress of the Internet, whereas the latter offers users various integral solutions with the arrival of IPTV. The Paper also comprises the very beginnings of IPTV, operation and development thereof in the domain of watching television exclusively via the Internet. Also, the idea of the »thematic multimedia interface (monitor)« is presented, offering users contemporary, thematic applications regarding selected application domains. The latter offer users a wide range of interconnected information and enable efficient interaction.
