Abstract

V drugem delu smo analizirali tehnike in vsebine plakatov. Pri analizi tehnik plakata smo analizirali tehnične vidike plakatov in tehnike izdelave plakatov. Pri analizi vsebin smo analizirali pričakovane ciljne skupine, sporočila plakatov in primarni prenos sporočil plakatov. V tretjem delu smo naredili primerjalno analizo plakatov, s katero smo prikazali podobnosti in razlike med njima, z vidika uporabljenih tehnik in vsebin plakatov.

Secondary title: CROATIAN WAR POSTER AS MASS MEDIA
Secondary abstract: In the master thesis we’re dealing with posters and related graphics media that occurred during the struggle for independence of Croatia (1980–1991), as well as during the Homeland War (1991-1995). The importance of the master's thesis is to demonstrate the analysis of the use of a poster as a communication medium in the observed periods. Master's thesis consists of theoretical and research work. The theoretical part contains a variety of approaches to dealing with the poster as a visual medium through terms of posters, propaganda and protest art. The research is composed of several parts. In the first part we have analyzed the posters according to their importance as a medium, and thus demonstrate their role in disseminating information to the public. In the second part we have analyzed the techniques and content of the posters. In the analysis of techniques of the poster, we have analyzed the technical aspects of posters and manufacturing techniques of posters. In the analysis of content, we analyzed the expected target groups, messages, and primary transmission of the message in posters. In the third part of the research of posters, we have made a comparative analysis of the posters, with which we have demonstrate the similarities and differences between them in terms of techniques as well as of their content. With completed research, we’ve gathered results, with which we were able to present an extended description of Croatian war posters as mass media. The basic conclusions of the analysis are that posters despite changes in the environment maintain their primary role, specifically their promotional ie propaganda role. Technical data associated with the posters remain very connected and there are no major differences in their use, while distinct differences are visible in poster messages.
