Abstract

Neprofitne organizacije so posebne ustanove, ki ne delujejo zaradi osebne koristi ali politične moči, ampak izvajajo svoje dejavnosti v imenu javnosti, ljudi ali določenih družbenih skupin. Glavne značilnosti delovanja neprofitnih organizacij so neodvisnost, neprofitnost, prostovoljnost, multifunkcionalnost in pa inovacijski potencial. Temeljna naloga managementa in vodij neprofitne organizacije je obvladovanje organizacije v skladu z interesi vplivnih udeležencev. Trženje v neprofitnih organizacijah ni prodaja storitev, ampak ugotavljanje potreb in njihovo zadovoljevanje. Neprofitne organizacije so običajno trajnostne predvsem zaradi donacij, vendar obstaja veliko drugih načinov oz. strategij zbiranja sredstev. Management človeških virov je v neprofitnem sektorju izjemno pomemben, saj je njihova dejavnost večinoma storitvena, in če organizacija odpove na tem področju, odpove v celoti.

Secondary abstract: Non-profit organizations are special institutions that work not for private gains or for political power, but rather activate in the name of the public, the people or certain social categories. The main operating characteristics of non-profit organizations are independence, non-profit, voluntariness, multifunctionality and potential for innovation. The fundamental task of management and leaders of non-profit organizations is managing of the organization in accordance with the interests of its influential participants. Marketing in non-profit organizations is not selling services, but the assessment of needs and their satisfaction. Non-profit organizations are usually sustainable because of donations, but there are many other ways or strategies for fundraising. Management of human resources in the non-profit sector is extremely important, since their activity is mainly service, and if the organization fails in this area, it fails in its entirety.
