specialistično delo
Abstract

AUTOMATION OF PRODUCTION BALLASTS USING THE PRINCIPLES OF LEAN PRODUCTION |
Secondary abstract: |
Globalization and competitive pressures are forcing companies to change business processes, thereby causing the dynamics and the necessity of making important, often critical decisions. Market interesting products, desire to succeed, persistence and understanding of the philosophy of lean production allow a competitive advantage to companies, and thus a better position in the market. Continual improvement and satisfied employees in the company been proven reducing labor costs and eliminates wasteful activities that does not bring any added value to the products.
Specialized work covers the theory of lean production, its principles and methods, with which you can both traditional and modern enterprises, help to improve the business operating. Company Elektrokovina is also, like many other companies, faced with fierce competition and high demands of the market. For its existence had to develop a new product and update production automation mounted electromagnetic ballasts and to eliminate unnecessary losses in production processes. After several years of successful production of a new product, the company should continue to develop automation and optimize existing business processes. During this period, the company was having need for material savings decided to invest into a new form of cut M T & W T 29. Based on the analysis of savings over a longer period of time, the company decided to take over machines and technology from W 29 competitive company Vossloh-Schwabe from Germany, in which in turn pays Royalty fee. This has significantly reduced the risk for the company and ensures lower labor costs and huge savings on material.
In companies, where are aware of the competitive advantages and use of the principles and tools of lean production, in a relatively short time shows positive results. Caring for a good condition of companies and encouraging creativity and innovation of employees, with the proper stimulation, are good investment for a successful business in the long run. |
