Abstract
Skrb za okolje in ohranjanje narave se v današnjem času poudarjata na vsakem koraku. V prid ohranjanju naravnega okolja za prihodnje generacije sprejemamo številne predpise, spremembe zakonodaje in organiziramo različne akcije. Vendar vsi ti ukrepi niso dovolj, če se ljudje ne zavedamo pomembnosti ohranjanja in skrbi za okolje. Pri tem imata pomembno vlogo vzgoja in izobraževanje, s katerima oblikujemo svoje znanje, stališča in vrednote skozi vse življenje. V šolah sta takšna vzgoja in izobraževanje predpisana s kurikulom okoljske vzgoje kot vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj. Prav delovanje ljudi v skladu z načeli trajnostnega razvoja nam zagotavlja ohranitev naravnega okolja takšnega, kakršen je. Zato smo v magistrskem delu želeli raziskati, v kakšni meri se kurikul okoljske vzgoje kot vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj izvaja v tretjem triletju osnovne šole. Na podlagi podatkov, ki smo jih zbrali z anketiranjem, smo ugotovili, da je vsebin okoljske vzgoje v tretjem triletju osnovne šole po mnenju učencev ravno dovolj. Vsebine se izvajajo v okviru vseh obveznih predmetov v tem obdobju in v okviru številnih izbirnih predmetov ter interesnih dejavnosti. Vendar pa učitelji vsebine okoljske vzgoje najpogosteje obravnavajo le splošno, redko obravnavajo vsebine podrobno pri enem predmetu. Podrobne obravnave posameznih vsebin pri več predmetih pa nismo zaznali, čeprav je bil namen vpeljave kurikula ravno medpredmetni pristop k izvajanju vsebin okoljske vzgoje kot vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj. Najpogostejši načini izvajanja vsebin okoljske vzgoje so pogovori o vsakdanjih navadah in izkušnjah z vidika vpliva na okolje, razprave v razredu o okoljskih temah in dejavnosti v naravi. Sodelovanje v programu Ekošole in uvajanje izbirnega predmeta okoljska vzgoja imata pozitiven učinek na količino in pogostost izvajanja okoljskih vsebin v osnovnih šolah, medtem ko velikost kraja osnovne šole ne vpliva na izvajanje kurikula okoljske vzgoje kot vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj.

Environmental care and nature conservation are nowadays emphasized at every step. In favor of the preservation of the natural environment for future generations a number of regulations, changes in legislation are accepted and various campaigns organized. However, all these measures are not enough if people are not aware of the importance of preserving and caring for the environment. Upbringing and education play an important role and help with forming our knowledge, attitudes and values throughout life. In Slovene schools upbringing and education are required by the curriculum for environmental education as education of sustainable development. The operation of the people in accordance with the principles of sustainable development provides us with the preservation of the natural environment, such as it is. This master's thesis deals with the research of the extent of the curriculum for environmental education as education of sustainable development in lower secondary school. Based on the data we have collected from the surveys, we found out that the content of environmental education in lower secondary school, according to students' opinion are enough included. The contents are carried out in the context of all compulsory subjects in this period and in the context of a number of elective courses and extracurricular activities. However, the content of environmental education teachers most often discussed only generally; they rarely treat in detail the contents in one subject. We did not detect detailed treatment of any content in more subjects, although was the intention of introducing the curriculum exactly cross-curricular approach to implementing contents of environmental education as education of sustainable development. The most common ways of implementing the requirements of environmental education are the conversations about everyday habits and experiences in terms of impact on the environment, the discussions in classes on environmental topics and activities in nature. Participation in the ECOschools program (Ekošola) and the introduction of the elective subject Environmental Education have a positive impact on the quantity and frequency of environmental issues in primary schools, while the size place where the elementary school is located does not affect the implementation of the curriculum of environmental education as education for sustainable development. |
