Abstract

V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo se osredotočili na gibalne sposobnosti in podrobneje izpostavili ravnotežje in moč. Predstavili smo tudi športne pripomočke, uporabo gimnastične žoge in elementarne igre. V empiričnem delu smo izmerili gibalne sposobnosti s pomočjo BOT2 testa (Bruininks in Oseretsky, 1978). V raziskovalni vzorec so bili vključeni otroci stari 5-6 let.

Secondary title: FITBALL AS A MEANS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR ABILITIES IN PRESCHOOL PERIOD
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the diploma theses is to establish the effect of organised and guided gymnastic ball activities on the development of motoric abilities in preschool period. The theoretical part of the diploma theses focuses on motoric abilities and, in detail, highlights balance and power. Sports equipment, the use of a gymnastics ball and elementary games are also presented. In the empirical part, the motoric abilities have been measured by means of BOT2 test (Bruininks in Oseretsky, 1978). The research sample consisted of children from 5 to 6 years of age. Forty (40) children, from whom 20 were five years old and 20 six years old, participated in the study. For each of the age groups, there were ten children in the control group and ten in the experimental group. Based on the results, positive conclusions about the efficiency of the twelve-week training for the experimental group of children have been made, since the children have advanced in terms of balance and power.
