Abstract

V svetu se vse več pozornosti namenja zeleni tehnologiji. Vse več držav se zaveda prevelike porabe električne energije za razsvetljavo cest in zato že postopoma uvajajo energetsko varčnejši način razsvetljave. Z razsvetljavo pa prihaja do svetlobnega onesnaženja, ki je dandanes velik problem in se ga komaj začenjamo zavedati. V našem diplomskem delu bomo skušali podati predloge za izboljšavo razsvetljave na slovenski avtocesti, ki bo energijsko varčnejša in bo znižala raven svetlobnega onesnaževanja. Do predlogov za izboljšanje avtocestne razsvetljave smo prišli z raziskovanjem dobrih praks iz drugih evropskih mest.

Secondary abstract: The world is increasingly focused on green technology. More and more countries are aware of the excessive electricity consumption for lighting of roads and therefore have gradually introduced energy efficient way of lighting. With street lighting comes the light pollution which is a big problem these days and we are barely beginning to be aware of it. In our thesis, we will try to give suggestions to improve the lighting on Slovenian highways to be more energy efficient and will reduce the level of light pollution. To proposals for improving the highway lighting, we researched best practices from other European cities.
