Abstract

V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela Moralna vzgoja predšolskih otrok skozi risanke najprej natančneje opredelimo pojem morala. Dotaknemo se moralnih teorij, ki jih omenjajo avtorji, moralnega razvoja, in dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na otrokov moralni razvoj ter moralne vzgoje otrok. V nadaljevanju predstavimo medije, podrobneje se posvetimo televiziji in risankam. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela smo predstavili pridobljene podatke, ki smo jih pridobili s pomočjo anketiranja otrok. Osredotočili smo se na raziskavo o tem, kako otroci v risankah prepoznavajo, razumejo in dojemajo moralne kvalitete, kot so vljudnost, resnicoljubnost in strpnost. Namen empirične raziskave je ugotoviti, ali otroci prepoznavajo moralna in nemoralna dejanja likov v risankah in kaj se iz risanke naučijo. Zanimalo nas je še, kakšno je njihovo mnenje o dejanju posameznega lika, kako bi lahko v določeni situaciji ravnali drugače, zakaj se jim določene moralne kvalitete zdijo pomembne, kje oz. kdo jih je poučil o opravičevanju, resnicoljubnosti in strpnosti. Prav tako smo se skozi izdelavo diplomskega dela spraševali ali so nam poučne risanke lahko v pomoč pri učenju moralne vzgoje. Končna spoznanja govorijo o tem, da predšolski otroci prepoznavajo moralna in nemoralna dejanja likov iz risank. Pri tem se opirajo na svoje lastne izkušnje in znanje, ki ga o tem, kaj je prav in kaj ni, že imajo, ter na videno situacijo v risanki. Ugotovili smo, da poučne risanke lahko uporabimo za učenje moralne vzgoje.

Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part of my thesis I define the conception of morality. After the examination of some theories of moral development and factors that affect children's moral development, I continue with the presentation of the media focusing primarily on television and cartoons. In the empirical part of my thesis I present the results of the survey conducted among children. The study is focused on how children recognize and understand moral qualities such as courtesy, tolerance and truthfulness in cartoons. The goal of the study was to find out if children can distinguish between a moral and an immoral action of the cartoon characters and what can they learn from the cartoons. We also wanted to know more about their opinion of the cartoon characters, how to behave in a certain situation, why are the certain moral qualities important and where or who taught them about apology, truthfulness and tolerance. Through making the thesis, we also wondered if the educational cartoons can help us at teaching of moral education. The study suggests that preschool children distinguish between a moral and an immoral action of the cartoon characters. Children's knowledge and experiences of moral rules help them to distinguish it. We found that educational cartoons can be used for teaching moral education.
