magistrsko delo na študijskem programu 2. stopnje
Abstract
Vozišča so izpostavljena različnim prometnim obremenitvam in sezonskim vremenskim vplivom, ti pojavi so ključnega pomena pri izgradnji stabilne in dolgoročno trpežne ceste. Največje probleme predstavljajo neugodne klimatske razmere, zagotavljanje ustreznih podatkov laboratorijskih preiskav, nadzor in kontrola kakovosti materiala in cenovne omejitve za ustrezne materiale za ceste.

PROBLEMS OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN TROPICAL COUNTRIES, EXAMPLE: EN 380 MACOMIA - OASSE |
Secondary abstract: |
Road traffic is becoming one of the most important factors in economic growth in fast developing countries. In last years it was not given a lot of attention to traffic and road studies in tropical countries. Experience has shown that is very important to consider the combination of properties of local material, used for road construction and technologies for construction, depending on weather conditions. This would include knowledge of the processes of formation as well as basic characteristics of local material, which has influence in geotechnical properties and behaviour of road.
Mozambique is ranked as third of all countries in the world in terms of worst road conditions. It has about 30,000 km of road network and only less than 10 % is paved. Most of secondary and tertiary roads are in very poor condition and are difficult to pass. Roads are exposed to various traffic loads and seasonal weather conditions, these are the most important factors in building a stable and long-term durable road.
The biggest problem represent unfavorable climatic conditions, quality of data of laboratory analyses, supervision and quality control of materials and price limits for suitable roads. |
