Abstract

Podjetje IME d. o. o. se ukvarja s prodajo ženskih modnih oblačil, obutve in dodatkov lastne blagovne znamke Jessyss. Poleg fizične trgovine v središču Maribora so kot primarni prodajni kanal izbrali splet. S spletno trgovino podjetje rešuje problem lokalne omejenosti, ki ga predstavlja fizična trgovina. Spletna trgovina Jessyss je obiskovalcem na voljo v štirih jezikih: v slovenskem, hrvaškem, angleškem in nemškem jeziku. Osnova spletne trgovine Jessyss je programska rešitev Magento. V diplomskem delu smo predstavili programsko rešitev Magento in dosedanji razvoj spletne trgovine Jessyss. Največji poudarek smo namenili opisu upravljanja spletne trgovine. Slednji bo v pomoč predvsem urednikom spletne trgovine, ki se s spletno rešitvijo Magento srečujejo prvič. Izdelavi in upravljanju spletne trgovine Jessyss sta sledila oglaševanje in analiza uporabe le-te. Predstavili smo oglaševanje preko družbenega omrežja Facebook. Za oglaševanje preko elektronske pošte smo uporabili spletno storitev MailChimp. Analiza obiskanosti spletne trgovine je bila opravljena z orodjem Google Analytics. Proučili smo dobre prakse podobnih spletnih trgovin in lastniku predlagali nadaljnje ukrepe za povečanje obiskanosti ter boljšo uporabniško izkušnjo.

Secondary abstract: Company IME d. o. o. engages in selling women’s trendy clothing and accessories as well as footwear and accompanying accessories under its own trademark Jessyss. Besides the physical retail shop, which is situated in the centre of Maribor, the company has set up an online shop. Thus the company has solved the problem of local limitation that a conventional shop presents. Online shop Jessyss is available in four languages, namely Slovene, Croatian, English and German and the basis of the shop is eCommerce solution Magento. This diploma thesis introduces previously mentioned solution and looks at the current development of Jessyss. The emphasis is placed on describing the management of the online shop. This will no doubt benefit the web page editors who have not been introduced to Magento before. After the online shop was designed and set up the company turned to advertising and the analysis of its use. Therefore, the thesis looks at advertising by using social network Facebook as well as service provider MailChimp for advertising via e-mail. In addition, web analytics service Google Analytics was used for the purpose of analysing the website traffic. Good practice of similar online shops has been examined and as a result, the owner was given suggestions for improving online traffic and providing a costumer with pleasant experience.
