Abstract

Secondary abstract: The question of an organizational climate has recently slowly become a focal point in many organizations. This is especially good news for employees, who represent an organization's most valuable asset. Satisfied, motivated and well rewarded employees are more eager to contribute to success and excellence of an organization. Organizational climate and employee satisfaction should be measured and monitored regularly, at least once a year. In this way an organization has a clear overview of employee satisfaction, relations between co-workers and an overall picture of the opinion of its employees about the image of an organization. Management has a clear understanding of what is good in an organization and what issues need to be addressed. It enables a quick response to a change. Regular monitoring and measuring of an organizational climate should therefore become a part of business process in an organization.
