Abstract

Secondary title: DISCRETE MULTI-TONE MODULATION SIGNALS ANALYSING FOR VDSL2-TECHNOLOGY
Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we deal with copper transmission media (twisted pair) and the impact of interference on the quality of bit rate, caused by the physical characteristics of the copper line and the external electromagnetic influences from the environment. Due to disorder, which is very well reflected in the frequency spectrum modulation VDSL, we have conducted an analysis of the signal on the basis of the plotted signal discrete multi-tone modulation (DMT). Copper pairs, which over time change physical properties, are routed to each subscriber. From the analysis of the DMT signals, based on comparison of signals, which were recorded on a specific transmission medium for a longer period of time, it can be inferred how those errors influence on the DMT signal, and consequently on modem synchronisation.
