Abstract

Današnji digitaliziran svet se vedno hitreje tehnološko razvija in posodablja. Podjetja imajo nenehno željo po konkurenčnosti in prevladi na trgu. Srečujejo se z vedno več dokumenti, ki so v papirni ali elektronski obliki. Do težav prihaja, ker se pojavljajo vedno večje količine papirja, pri iskanju in vnašanju podatkov imajo zaposleni vedno več težav, saj se je ta papirna dokumentacija shranjevala že več desetletij. Težave imajo z vodenjem evidenc. V izogib temu se podjetja vedno bolj odločajo za vpeljavo elektronskega sistema za upravljanje z dokumenti (EDMS). Podjetja se zavedajo, da si morajo zagotovit učinkovit sistem za upravljanje z dokumenti, saj je večina znanja v podjetjih v obliki dokumentov, ki zajemajo poslovni proces. EDMS je informacijski sistem za obvladovanje dokumentov v elektronski obliki v podjetju skozi njihov celoten življenjski cikel od nastanka do arhiviranja. Namen magistrskega dela je spoznati sistem za upravljanje z dokumenti, predstaviti uvedbo, dva ponudnika in eno študijo primera dokumentnega sistema. Ponudnikov dokumentnega sistema je vedno več, mi smo se odločili, da vam bomo predstavili dokumentni sistem EBA DMS in Genisovo rešitev e-Računi. Študija primera dokumentnega sistema temelji na podjetju Arkanasas Electric Cooperatives (AEC).

Secondary abstract: Today's digitized world is becoming faster in technological development and updates. Companies have constantly desired for competitiveness and dominance in the market. They face an increasing number of documents in paper or electronic form. The problems occur because there are frequently large quantities of paper, employees have more and more problems with finding and capturing data, because these paper documents have been stored for several decades. They have problems with record-keeping. To avoid this, companies are increasingly opting for the introduction of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Companies are aware that they must provide an effective system for managing documents, because most knowledge by firms in the form of documents covering business process. EDMS is an information system for the management of electronic documents in the company through their entire lifecycle from creation to archiving. The purpose of the master's thesis is to introduce a system for managing documents, present its implementation, two providers and one case study of document management system. The number of providers of document management system increasing. We have decided to present the document management system EBA DMS and the Genis's solution e-Računi. Case Study of document management system is based on the company Arkanasas Electric Cooperatives (AEC).
