Abstract

V prvem delu diplomske naloge opisujemo proces odločanja skupaj z intuitivnim odločanjem, saj je ta najbolj pogost pri strateških odločitvah. Predstavimo, kaj je zaupanje in kako je pomembno med podjetji. V delu, kjer opisujemo pravno-formalni vidik zavarovalništva, se osredotočimo predvsem na delovanje zavarovalnih posrednikov. Pridobitev zaupanja s strani stranke je najbolj pomemben člen dela zavarovalnih posrednikov in močno vpliva na odločitev o izbiri le-teh. Delo zavarovalnih posrednikov je pri nas še vedno premalo poznano in se ga pogosto enači z delom zavarovalni zastopnikov, kar še zdaleč ni isto. Konkurenca je tako zelo velika, ker je vpliv zavarovalnic in hkrati zavarovalnih zastopnikov zelo močan, in tudi ker se odpira vedno več novih zavarovalno posredniških družb. V drugem, raziskovalnem delu diplomske naloge smo s pomočjo obširnega anketnega vprašalnika ugotovili, da managerji sprejemajo odločitve o izbiri zavarovalnega posrednika za zavarovanje poslovnih tveganj predvsem intuitivno. Odločitev o izbiri zavarovalnega posrednika predstavlja zahteven strateški odločitveni problem. Podjetja v Sloveniji še vedno v veliki meri ne poznajo delovanja in storitev zavarovalnih posrednikov in jih zelo pogosto zamenjujejo z zavarovalnimi zastopniki. Za vzpostavitev zaupanja v zavarovalnega posrednika je potreben dolgotrajen proces. Podjetja, ki ne sodelujejo z zavarovalnim posrednikom, nimajo zaupanja vanje. Dejavniki, ki najbolj vplivajo na izbiro določenega zavarovalnega posrednika so predvsem izkušnje in strokovnost zavarovalnega posrednika ter ponudba storitev. Podjetja se ne odločijo za sodelovanje z njimi, predvsem zaradi nepoznavanja zavarovalnih posrednikov.

Secondary title: THE INFLUENCE OF CONFIDENCE ON DECISION MAKING ABOUT THE CHOICE OF AN INSURANCE BROKER
Secondary abstract: In the first part of the diploma thesis we describe the decision-making process together with making decisions by intuition, because it is the most common way with strategic decisions. We present what is trust and its importance in companies. In the part where legal-formal point of view of insurance business is presented we focused mainly on the work of insurance brokers. Gaining client's trust is the most important part of the insurance brokers' work and strongly influences on picking one of them. Their work is still not known enough in Slovenia and is often mistaken with the work of insurance agents, which is different. The competition is very big because of the influence of insurance companies and in the same time insurance agents and also because of big number of insurance broker companies. In the second, empirical part of the diploma thesis we made a survey and found out that managers make decisions on picking the insurance broker to insure business risks according to their intuition. Decision on picking the insurance broker represents a major strategic problem. Companies in Slovenia are still not familiar with the work and services of insurance brokers and therefore they often mistake them for insurance agents. It takes a lot of time to establish trust. Companies, which do not cooperate with insurance broker, also do not trust their work. Factors, which influence the choice of insurance broker the most are mainly experiences, expertise and their range of services. Companies do not decide to cooperate with the insurance brokers mainly because they are not familiar with them.
