Abstract

V magistrskem delu je obravnavano degradirano območje na Ptuju, locirano na levem bregu reke Drave, nasproti starega mestnega jedra. Gre za lokacijo z zgodovinskim spominom sekundarnega urbanega centra. Dodatno vrednost predstavlja pogled na veduto starega mestnega jedra. Izhodišče projekta predstavlja povezava lokacije s starim mestnim jedrom, ki se izvede prek trga in steče prek reke. Povezavo med obema bregovoma predstavlja brod, zasnovan kot trg, postavljen na reko. Znotraj območja so umeščeni programi, ki omogočajo novo funkijo prostora - sekundarni urbani center. Programska reorganizacija, ki v prostor pripelje uporabnika, je ključ pri reševanju degradiranega prostora.

Secondary abstract:	The master's thesis considered degraded area of Ptuj, located on the left bank of the river Drava, the opposite of old city center. This location has historical memory of the secondary urban center. Additional value represents the view of the panorama of the old city center. The starting point of the project represents the connection between the chosen area and the old city center, that happens over the square, which spans over the river. The link between two banks represents a ferry, designed as a square located on the river. Inside the area are placed programs that enable new place function - a secondary urban center. Programs reorganization, which leads the user in place, is the key in solving the degraded area.
