Abstract

S terminološko opredelitvijo nekaterih dejavnosti v naravi, povezanih z gorami, kot so: planinstvo, izletništvo, pohodništvo in gorništvo, smo usmerjeno raziskovali ustreznost teh dejavnosti v predšolskem obdobju. Skozi prerez zgodovine planinstva v Sloveniji smo iskali pomen tradicije obiskovanja gora z izvedbo planinskih vsebin v vrtcu ter s pomočjo analize kritičnega branja iskali razlike v vodenju odraslih ljudi in otrok.

Secondary title: The significance of mountaineering in pre-school period
Secondary abstract: This dissertation is focused on mountain doctrines, that are prescribed for the adults and how, if at all, they correspond or differ with the development of a pre-school child. At the beginning we take a look at the terminology of the words, such as mountaineering, hiking, excursioning and alpine-climbing, and clarify their meaning. Furtheron, a few words have been dedicated to the history of mountaineering in Slovenia, how it all started and then proceeded during the years. Few things have also been written about guidance and the person in charge of it. Mountaineering theme has been transferred into nursery, as a part of a content, that can provide realization of the goals, that are written in the nursery curriculum, under the sphere of Movement. Because of the significance of walking, as part of the basic forms of movement and also its significance in mountaineering, we tried to find the differences between the walk of adults and children and also the differences in their physical performance. The goal was to determine the compliance of mountain doctrines, group guidance specifically, and selected factors of psychomotor status of a pre-school child. We have presented a case of a good practice for the development of physical performance of children and have then focused on a specific case, which was the guidance of pre-school children in the mountains. Also, a research has been done to find out in which case the doctrines are not consistent with the developmental characteristics of a pre-school child and also how this have been addressed by the different authors, what were their proposed solutions and if we can truly guide a child into the mountains and at the same time take all their individual needs into account.
