Abstract

V drugem - empiričnem delu - smo predstavili rezultate, ki smo jih pridobili z izvajanjem in s preizkušanjem različnih načinov postopnega odkrivanja z dvanajstimi umetniškimi deli sodobnih slovenskih umetnikov.

Secondary title: TESTING THE DIFFERENT WAYS OF ART APPRECIATION
Secondary abstract: The thesis titled "Testing different ways of developing fine art appreciation" consists of theoretical and empirical work. It was formed with the purpose of checking the different ways of presentation with twelve works of art. With direct pedagogical work and on the basis of established results we want to find appropriate ways and channels to develop fine art appreciation. In the first part, which represents the theoretical starting point, we have presented fine art appreciation, presented its history, as well as the importance and possibilities of developing its appreciation. We also presented fine art evaluation and artistic creativity, as both activities are strongly linked with fine art appreciation. In the evaluation, we examined the types and approaches of fine art evaluation. In regard to creativity, we defined the concept, wrote the criteria and explained the phenomenom of artistic creativity itself. We have also presented their impact on the fine art appreciation skills. In the second - empirical part - we presented the results which we have obtained with the implementation and testing of different ways of gradual discovery of twelve works of art by contemporary Slovenian artists. For data collection, we chose the analysis of audio recordings that were recorded during the fine art class. The research sample included six classes of pupils from three elementary schools in Maribor. Research has shown that the efficiency of the chosen ways of gradual discovery of each artwork varies, because some pupils felt drawn to realistic artworks, while some preferred abstract works of art. Nevertheless, all the ways of gradual discovery of artworks in all the presented works of art for the most part succeeded in drawing the attention of pupils to artworks.
