Abstract

V sodobnem svetu, ki ga živimo in vse hitrejšem tempu življenja, je stres postal del vsakdana in del vsakega posameznika. Poznamo več vrst stresa. Posebej pomembni sta dve vrsti, pozitivni in negativni stres. Pozitiven stres deluje na človeka pozitivno, saj mu omogoča motivacijo za reagiranje, odločanje in osredotočenost na neko stvar ali situacijo. V veliki meri pa je danes stres predvsem negativen. Kljub temu se moramo stres naučiti obvladati oz. ga premagovati z najrazličnejšimi tehnikami oz. načini obvladovanja stresa. Danes, ko so izvori stresa vse pogostejši, je zelo pomembno, da se posamezniki in podjetja osredotočajo na obvladovanje stresa oz. stresnih situacij. Vse več je namreč ljudi, ki pravijo, da je poglavitni razlog stresa prav delo. Delo tako povzroča stres pri zaposlenih, kar negativno vpliva tudi na delodajalce oz. organizacijo samo. Zniža se lahko produktivnost in učinkovitost, kar se lahko odrazi kot odpuščanje delovne sile. Spremembe v organizaciji povzročajo vse večji stres in vse to negativno vpliva na uspešnost organizacije. V magistrskem delu smo se zato odločili predstaviti stres, zato smo v teoretičnem delu predstavili pojem stres, opredelili vrste stresa, našteli in opisali simptome oz. izvore stresa. Nato smo opisali tudi posledice stresa, tako za organizacijo kot tudi za posameznika in družbo. Ker je vedno več načinov obvladovanja stresa, smo opisali tudi nekatere možne načine obvladovanja stresa. Opredelili smo načine za obvladovanje stresa na ravni posameznika in na ravni organizacije. Teoretična spoznanja smo podkrepili tudi z empiričnim delom, v katerem smo predstavili podjetje Impol d.o.o. in na podlagi razdeljenih anketnih vprašalnikov ter opravljenih analiz želeli izvedeti izvore stresa na delovnem mestu, simptome, ki se pojavljajo pri zaposlenih in so posledica stresnih situacij ter načine katerih se poslužujejo zaposleni za obvladovanje stresa. Vse te podatke smo zbrali za leto 2011 in za 2014 ter jih uporabili za primerjavo med zaposlenimi v omenjenih obdobjih. Raziskava je pokazala veliko zanimivih ugotovitev. Ugotovili smo, da se izvori stresa med letoma 2011 in 2014 delno razlikujejo. Prav tako smo ugotovili tudi, da so zaposleni v letu 2011 bili na splošno bolj obremenjeni s stresom na delovnem mestu. Rezultati so pokazali tudi, da so simptomi stresa v večji meri izraženi leta 2011 in da so se zaposleni s stresom bolje spoprijemali leta 2011, čeprav so bile razlike minimalne.

Secondary abstract: In the modern world in which we live in and in a fast tempo of life, stress has become important part of everyday and a part of each individual. Stress can be negative or even positive. Positive stress has good effect on people, because it gives motivation to react and focus on a particular situation or thing. However in our lives is mostly negative stress and it is on us, that we learn how to deal with it or find ways how to manage stress. Today, when are common sources of stress is very important for individuals and for companies that they could focus on stress management and stressful situations. There is more and more people who say that the main reason of stress is work. Work also causes stress among employees, which has a negative impact also on the organization itself. This could bring to reduced productivity, increased dismissal of employees or lead to changes in organization, that have negative impact on the performance of the organization. In our thesis we have decided to present stress, that becomes very big problem for organizations and employees. In theoretical part we have presented the concept of stress, sources of stress, stress factors, described symptoms of stress and effects of stress. We know that there is a lot of different ways to manage stress and so we have described some of possible ways to deal with it. We have described possible ways at an individual level and for organization. In our empirical part, we have presented company Impol d.o.o. On the basis of distributed questionnaires and analyzes we wanted to find out which are sources of stress in this company and which symptoms occur among employees. Then we have wanted to find out which methods are used by employees to deal with stress. All those data were collected in 2011 and 2014. They were used just for the comparison between employees. The research showed many interesting findings. We found that sources of stress between 2011 and 2014 are slightly different. We have also found that employees in 2011 were more burdened with stress. The results also showed that stress symptoms are greater expressed in 2011. Research also showed that employees in 2011 were better in dealing with stress than employees in 2014.
