Abstract

IP telefonija je rešitev pri kateri se podatki, ki nastanejo pri vzpostavljenem telefonskem klicu, pretakajo prek internetnega kanala. Za te telefonske pogovore se rezervira določena pasovna širina, ki je namenjena samo glasovnemu (ang. voice) prometu. Zaradi rezerviranega dela pasovne širine ter kakovosti storitev (QoS) se zraven glasovnega prometa po istem kanalu pretakajo tudi ostali podatki (ang. data). Zahvaljujoč slednjemu potrebujemo samo eno povezavo (ang. Trunk) med dvema lokacijama. S sodobnimi informacijskimi sistemi se želimo obraniti tudi pred nezaželenimi vdori, zato je zelo pomembna varnost podatkov. Potrebni nivo varnosti dosežemo z varnostjo informacijskega sistema (ang. IP security). To pa dosežemo s požarnimi pregradami in posebnimi filtrirnimi sistemi, ki takšne nepooblaščene vdore prepoznajo in jih onemogočijo. Namen diplomskega dela je preizkusiti rešitve telefonije prek interneta, rešitve varnosti omrežja ter izdelava virtualnega okolja računalniške mreže in IP telefonije v programskem paketu OPNET IT GURU. Virtualno okolje se izdela za izmišljeno podjetje, ki ima dve lokaciji, od koder uporabniki pridejo do internetnih strani, ftp-ja ter vzpostavljajo klice po IP protokolu. Na izdelanem omrežju v programskem paketu OPNET IT GURU smo spreminjali obremenitve povezav in ostale karakteristike ter opazovali, kako se obnaša kakovost storitev (ang. Quality of Service(QoS)) ter posamezni gradniki omrežja. S kakovostjo storitev smo telefonskemu prometu dali prednost pred podatkovnim prometom. Program nam omogoča izdelavo več podobnih scenarijev, zato smo izdelali tri scenarije, katere smo med seboj primerjali. Program na podlagi vhodnih podatkov izrisuje grafe kot so obremenitve povezav, količine pretečenih podatkov, itd… Na podlagi slednjih smo ugotovili, da je kakovost storitev uspešna le do določene meje obremenitev. V primeru da bi naše izmišljeno podjetje obremenjevalo povezave do meje, pri kateri QoS ni več zadovoljiva, bi morali povečati pasovno širino povezave ali le-to zamenjati z zmogljivejšo.

Secondary abstract: IP telephony is a solution in which the data are transmitted via Internet protocol. These data are passed through a bandwidth that is reserved only for voice traffic. Due to this solution and quality of service (QoS) in addition to voice traffic on the same channel also other data are transmitted. Therefore, we need only one link between two locations. To prevent unwanted intruders is a very important safety of data. We achieve the necessary level of security with secure information system. This is achieved with special firewalls and filtering systems that recognize such unauthorized intrusions and disable them. The purpose of this diploma is to make a virtual environment on computer network and IP telephony solution on OPNET IT GURU software package for fictitious company, which has two locations from which users access to Internet sites, FTP and setting up calls over the IP protocol. With this virtual environment we will test these solutions. In our virtual network we change some characteristics, and observe how quality of service (QoS) and network behaves. With the quality of the services we administer telephone traffic priority over other traffic. The program enables us to make a number of similar scenarios, so we developed three scenarios that were compared with each other. Program draw graphs based on input data, amount of data, etc ... Based on the graphs, we found out that the quality of services meet the conditions required only to the certain load limit. In the case when the company overloads their connections to the boundary at which the QoS no longer works, we would have to increase bandwidth connections or replace the bandwidth with the more powerful one.
