Abstract

V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni didaktični pripomočki na splošno, sledi pregled terminov, ki so se zanje uporabljali skozi zgodovino vse do danes, klasifikacija in lastnosti temeljnih didaktičnih pripomočkov. Podane so osnovne smernice kritične izbire in racionalne uporabe pripomočkov pri pouku matematike. Bolj podrobno so predstavljeni didaktični pripomočki pri pouku matematike v sklopu aritmetike in algebre v prvem triletju osnovne šole oziroma tisti pripomočki, ki jih predpisuje učni načrt. Z izidi anketnega vprašalnika, ki so jih reševali učitelji prvega triletja slovenskih osnovnih šol, so predstavljena stališča uporabe didaktičnih pripomočkov pri matematiki. Ugotavljamo, da učitelji dobro poznajo in pogosto uporabljajo didaktične pripomočke pri matematiki, poudarjajo pomen in pozitivne učinke didaktičnih pripomočkov na učenje matematike in stremijo k še bolj kakovostni in racionalni uporabi le-teh pri pouku. Prav tako so predstavljene nekatere težave in ovire, s katerimi se soočajo učitelji pri pridobitvi, uporabi in shranjevanju didaktičnih pripomočkov.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents didactic manipulatives in general, following an overview of various technical terms which were used for them throughout history, their classification, properties of didactic manipulatives and things that need to be considered when applying certain didactic manipulatives in classroom and how to rationally acquire and use at math's class. More in detail are presented didactic manipulatives at math's class in frame of arithmetic and algebra in first period of primary school or those, which are included in the school curriculum. Through results of questionnaire, answered by teachers at primary school, manipulatives teachers attitude towards didactic instruments used in mathematics lessons are presented. It was determined that the teachers are well acquainted with didactical manipulatives available and use them often in class, they are emphasise importance and positive effects of didactic manipulatives on learning of mathematics and aspire for even more quality and rational usage of them at class. As well are introduced some problems and barriers which teachers are confronting over a acquisition, usage and storing of didactic accessories.
