Abstract

Secondary title: CHAOS THEORY - PEDAGOGICAL RESOURCES WITH USE OF APPLETS
Secondary abstract: In this work I will present numerical simulations, which can be easily found on internet, for education of physics in chaos. Chaos theory was discovered after 1950. Since then the horizon of natural phenomena in which chaos plays important role, is getting bigger and bigger. Number of important scientist is claiming that most of natural processes are getting closer to the edge of the chaos. Consequently, nature is becoming more and more "complex" and because of this it can store more information. Chaos theory is as much important as theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. It is important because it describes several natural phenomena which dominate our daily life. Physics of chaos contains several universalities. This enables to establish close mathematical link between seemingly completely different physical systems. Several phenomena in chaos theory are very robust and independent of the details of a system. In Slovenia teaching of chaos theory in secondary school is almost absent despite it is in describing natural phenomena in our everyday life. Because of that I will represent main mechanisms of chaos and "language" of chaos with use of applets which already exist and are freely available on internet.
