Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je, da ugotovimo, ali kivetni testi lahko zamenjajo standardno metodo za kontrolo odpadnih voda na čistilni napravi. Primerljivost metod smo preizkušali z dvema parametroma: KPK (kemijska potreba po kisiku) in NH4-N (amonijev dušik). Različne vzorce odpadne vode smo odvzeli na različnih delih čistilne naprave. KPK odpadne vode smo določili na treh različnih fotometrih WTW S12, Merck Nova 60 in WTW SpectroFlex 6100 ter jih primerjali z rezultati standardne metode. Z izbranim statističnim testom smo preverili primerljivost med različnimi metodami. Rezultati diplomske naloge kažejo, da standardno metodo pri spremljanju učinkovitosti delovanja čistilne naprave lahko nadomestimo s kivetnimi metodami. Za meritve KPK smo največjo primerljivost standardne in kivetne metode dosegli na fotometru WTW S12, večje odstopanje kažejo meritve na fotometrih Merck Nova 60 in WTW SpectroFlex 6100. Dobro primerljivost standardne metode in kivetnega testa NANOCOLOR Ammonium 04 kažejo tudi meritve NH4-N.

Secondary title: Application of cuvette tests for wastewater control
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the paper was to establish whether cuvette tests could replace the standard methods of wastewater treatment plant control. Wastewater samples were taken from the different places at wastewater treatment plant. We tested the comparability of cuvette tests with the standard methods according to two parametres: COD (chemical oxygen demand) and NH4-N (ammonium). WTW S12 photometer, Merck Nova 60 and WTW Spectro Flex 6100 cuvette tests were selected and compared with standard COD method using statistical test. The results showed the standard COD method can be replaced by cuvette tests. In the case of COD tests, the largest degree of comparability was achieved on the WTW S12 photometer, whilst discrepancies occured during the measurements using Merck Nova 60 and WTW Spectro Flex 6100. NH4-N measurements point to a high degree of comparability of standard method and NANOCOLOR Ammonium 04 cuvettee test as well.
