Abstract

Secondary title: DEVELOPMENT OF IT SUPPORT FOR BLOOD DONORS
Secondary abstract: Balancing blood supply in hospital is a complex task and requires continuous monitoring of transfusion services. It happens that certain blood group runs out. Instead of manual calling and sharing information via massive media, the required number of donors can be reached with just few mouse clicks. In this thesis, the creation of desktop application will be described. It was designed for hospitals to send requests. Additionally a mobile application was designed for blood donors. The result is the application that represents a connection between hospital needs and those who donate blood. Application is based on push notification technology.
