Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo raziskali in opisali vlogo, pomen ter možnosti uporabe kontrolnih točk v orodju Selenium pri testiranju spletnih aplikacij. Predstavili smo uveljavljene principe in postopke testiranja spletnih aplikacij ter lastnosti in pristope k uporabi posameznih komponent orodja Selenium. V sklopu praktičnega dela smo za spletno aplikacijo za upravljanje odnosov s strankami, imenovano Bitrix24, izdelali testne primere, s pomočjo katerih smo ponazorili uporabnost različnih tipov kontrolnih točk orodja Selenium.

Secondary abstract: The thesis focuses on a research and the possibilities of application of using checkpoints in the testing of web applications with Selenium. We present well established approaches and techniques of web application testing as well as specific components of Selenium. To demonstrate the use of various types of checkpoints in Selenium, we have designed and implemented test cases for the Bitrix24 which is a web application for the management of customer relationships.
