Vpliv značilnosti mobilnih aplikacij na izbiro orodij za testiranje

Abstract

Hiter razvoj mobilnih naprav in aplikacij je vplival tudi na proces testiranja mobilnih aplikacij, pri katerem je poleg raznih metod testiranja programske opreme potrebno poznavanje značilnosti mobilnih aplikacij. Za obvladovanje teh izzivov so bila razvita številna testna orodja z različnimi funkcionalnostmi, kar ustvarja izziv pri izboru najbolj primernega. V magistrskem delu smo naslovili ta izziv in analizirali vpliv značilnosti mobilnih aplikacij na proces testiranja le-teh. Osredotočili smo se predvsem na definiranje kriterijev izbire, ki omogočajo bolj učinkovit izbor testnih orodij.

Secondary abstract:	The rapid development of mobile devices and applications has also affected the process of testing mobile applications where in addition to the known methods of software testing the knowledge of the specificities of mobile applications is required. To cope with these challenges number of testing tools have been developed with different functionalities, which creates a challenge in selecting the most suitable. In this thesis we have addressed this challenge by analyzing the impact of mobile applications peculiarities on the testing proces. We focused primarily on defining the selection criteria that allow more efficient selection of testing tools.
