Abstract

Žitni krogi temeljijo na osnovnih geometrijskih likih, največkrat pravilnih mnogokotnikih in krogih. V diplomskem delu se osredotočamo na izdelavo aplikacije, s katero je mogoče žitne kroge interaktivno načrtovati. V ta namen razvijemo različna orodja, s katerimi določimo osnovno geometrijsko strukturo žitnih krogov, nad katero s pomočjo Boolovih operacij upodobimo žitne kroge na računalniškem zaslonu.

Secondary abstract:	Crop circles are based on basic geometry primitives which, in most cases, consist of regular polygons and circles. In this thesis we have focused on the development of an application which enables interactive crop circle design. For this purpose we have developed, tools to define the underlying geometric structure upon which Boolean operations are applied. The results are then rendered on a computer screen.
