Abstract
Vsaka okoliščina lahko povzroči stres. Povzroči tako negativne kot pozitivne posledice, vendar posvečamo več pozornosti negativnim pojavom. Če se naučimo živeti s stresom, ne glede na zunanje okoliščine, lahko živimo uspešneje, bolj zadovoljno in zdravo.
Vsi občutijo stres, ter o njem govorijo, vendar so se le redki zavzeli, da bi odkrili, kaj je v resnici. Kot besedi uspeh in neuspeh ima tudi beseda stres različne pomene za različne ljudi, zato jo je vsebinsko težko določiti.
V nalogi smo dali poudarek stresu na delovnem mestu, ki je za mnoge stalnica. Konkurenca, reorganizacija proizvodnje in managementa, nenehne spremembe v tehnologiji, potrebnih znanjih, veščinah in pogojih dela, ukinjanje delovnih mest ter druge lastnosti sodobnega dela in poslovanja še dodatno vzpodbujajo stres. Pomembno je, da smo samozavestni, ter znamo upravljati s časom in več časa posvetiti fizični aktivnosti, da skrbimo zase ter ustvarjamo boljše medčloveške odnose. Vsekakor nas določena mera stresa motivira in nam omogoča, da sprejemamo odločitve, se osredotočimo ter delujemo pozitivno.
V teoretičnem delu naloge smo raziskovali pojem stres v širšem smislu, pojem stresa na delovnem mestu in kako se soočati s stresom. Pomembno je znati prepoznati stres. Dokler ne vemo od kod problem, ne moremo najti rešitve. Šele takrat ga lahko začnemo obvladovati. Ne smemo dovoliti, da nas premaga stres, mi moramo premagati njega.
Teoretična stališča različnih avtorjev smo poskušali podkrepiti s praktičnim delom magistrske naloge. Zanimalo nas je v kolikšni meri je stres prisoten pri zaposlenih v Mestni občini Slovenj Gradec. Na podlagi rezultatov smo podali možno strategijo za odpravljanje in preprečevanje stresa na delovnem mestu v Mestni občini Slovenj Gradec.

Any circumstance can cause stress. It causes negative as well as positive consequences, but we pay more attention to the negative occurrences. If we learn to live with stress, regardless of external circumstances, we can live a more successful, content and healthy life.
Everybody experiences and talks about stress, but only few took it upon them, to find out what it truly is. Just as the words success and failure have different meanings to different people, so does the word stress, so it's substantially harder to determine.
This paper focuses on stress at the work place, which is a constant for many. Competition, production and management reorganization, constant changes in technologies, required knowledge, competences and work conditions, abolition of work posts and other characteristics of modern work and business that add stress. It is important, that we are self-confident, efficient in our time management and that we dedicate time to physical activity, take care of ourselves and create better interpersonal relationships. In any case, a certain level of stress motivates us and enables us to accept decisions, focus and operate positively.
In the theoretical part of this paper, we have researched the term stress in a broader sense, stress in the workplace and how to deal with stress. It is important to identify stress. Until we find the source of the problem, we can not find the solution. Only then, we can start to control it. We can not allow stress to beat us, we have to beat it.
We have tried to substantiate, theoretical standpoints of various authors, with the practical section of this masters thesis. We were interested in the amount of stress that is present at employees of the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec. Based on the results, we have created a possible strategy to eliminate and prevent stress in the workplace of the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec. |
