Razvoj turizma v Slovenski Istri

Abstract

V diplomskem seminarju analiziram razvoj turizma v Slovenski Istri in učinke turizma kot jih zaznavajo domačini. V teoretičnem delu opredelim vrste turizma, turistično ponudbo, možnosti za razvoj turizma in njegove pozitivne in negativne učinke. Opišem pomen prevozništva v turizmu, ki omogoča mobilnost oseb in s tem razvoj turizma. Pri razvijanju turizma v regiji imajo pomembno vlogo tudi domačini. Predstavim Slovensko Istro in njeno gospodarstvo ter s posebnim poudarkom na kulturni in naravni dediščini. Izvedem S.W.O.T. analizo turistične ponudbe regije na podlagi mnenj domačinov, kjer prikažem potencialne prednosti in nevarnosti razvoja turizma. V praktičnem delu seminarja analiziram rezultate ankete, to je zaznavanje domačinov o ekonomskih, socio-kulturnih in okoljskih vplivih turizma ter o njegovem prihodnjem razvoju. Analiza je pokazala, da imajo domačini ambivalentna mnenja o vplivih turizma.

Secondary abstract:	In the graduation seminar paper, I analyse the development of tourism in Slovenian Istria, and how tourism impacts are perceived by residents. In the theoretical part, I define the types of tourism, the tourist offering, the opportunities for tourism development, as well as its positive and negative impacts. The importance of transport in tourism, enabling the mobility of people and thus tourism development, is highlighted. The residents play an important role in the development of tourism in the region. I present the region of Slovenian Istria and its economic development, focusing on cultural and natural heritage. S.W.O.T. analysis of the tourist offering in the region based on the residents’ opinions is performed where the potential advantages and risks of tourism development are outlined. In the empirical part, I analyse the results of the survey, i.e. the residents’ perception of the economic, socio-cultural, and environmental impacts of tourism and its future development. The findings of the survey indicate that residents have ambivalent opinions about the tourism impacts.
