Abstract

Slovenske železnice, d. d. o., so podjetje v stoodstotni lasti države. Podjetje je že več let zelo pomembno na področju prevoza tovora in potnikov. Po železniški infrastrukturi se vsak dan prevažajo velike količine tovora v tovornem prometu, v potniškem pa potniki. Da bi se izboljšala kakovost potovanja in čas ter hitrost vlakov, pa je vendarle potrebno narediti izboljšave na področju železniške infrastrukture. V diplomskem delu je najprej opisana zgodovina slovenskih železnic, nato sledi opis rekonstrukcije in elektrifikacije železniške proge Pragersko–Ptuj, ki pa vsebuje sedanje stanje proge in tudi predvideno novo stanje proge. Diplomsko delo prinaša tudi opis prednosti in pomanjkljivosti prenovljene proge. Sledita še oris sprememb na postajah Pragersko–Ptuj in predstavitev napajalne postaje Ptuj, njeni nameni in cilji. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela pa sledi analiza anketnega vprašalnika, s pomočjo katerega smo pridobili informacije o prenovljeni progi Pragersko–Ptuj.

Secondary abstract: Slovenske železnice d.d.o. is a 100% state-owned company and is an important company in the field of freight and passenger rail transport for many years. Railway infrastructure carries enormous quantities of freight and many passengers every day. In order to improve the quality of travelling and the time needed for the travel as well as the speed of the trains, many improvements need to be made on the railway infrastructure. In the diploma thesis we have described the history of the Slovenian railways then the description of the reconstruction and electrification of the railroad Pragersko-Ptuj followed with the current state of the railroad and expected state of it. We also studied advantages and disadvantages of the reconstructed railroad. Next we described the changes on the stations Pragersko-Ptuj and the presentation of “power station” Ptuj, its purposes and goals. In the practical part of the thesis we have carried out a survey and gained the information about the renewed railroad Pragersko-Ptuj.
