Abstract

Komunikacija je del našega vsakdana, saj se z njo srečujemo tako v zasebnem življenju kot tudi v poslovnem. Brez komunikacije danes namreč ne gre, ne glede na to, ali je ta uspešna, ali ne. Način komunikacije v arabskem svetu se kar precej razlikuje od komunikacije v Evropi. Zato moramo, preden odidemo v arabski svet, temeljito preučiti njihov trg, kulturo ter navade. Namreč, če nismo seznanjeni z njihovimi značilnostmi pri poslovanju, posledično tudi nismo uspešni. Osrednji pomen diplomskega seminarja je medkulturno poslovno komuniciranje in poslovno komuniciranje v arabski kulturi. Opredelili smo kulturo ter posebnosti medkulturnega komuniciranja, kjer smo ugotovili, da obstajajo razne ovire in jezikovne razlike, ki imajo ključni pomen pri komuniciranju. Glavni cilj našega diplomskega seminarja pa je spoznati arabsko kulturo ter način, komuniciranja v tej kulturi. Kulture se med seboj razlikujejo. Tako je tudi arabska kultura posebna, in sicer prav zaradi vpliva islama. Predstavili smo, na kaj vse moramo biti pozorni, kadar poslujemo z Arabci.

Secondary abstract: Communication is part of our live because we need communication in private life and in business life. Without communication we can't live, although it is successful or unsuccessful. Communication in Arab Culture is quite different from the communication in Europe. Therefore we need to examine their market, culture and habits. If we aren't familiar with their characteristics in the business we aren't successful. The most important of the thesis is intercultural business communication and business communication in Arab Culture. We defined the culture and features of intercultural communication, where we find out that there are various barriers and language differences which are of crucial importance in communication. The main goal of our thesis is to learn about Arab Culture and how to communicate in this culture. Cultures are different between each other and so, it is different also Arab Culture because of the influence of Islam. We present about what we have to be careful when we do business with the Arabs.
