Abstract
Predmet diplomskega dela je študij sinteze zvoka s pomočjo digitalne obdelave signalov in slik. Praktičen cilj diplomske naloge je izdelati digitalni glasbeni inštrument, ki je sposoben proizvesti zvok različnih oblik. Pogoji pri izdelavi inštrumenta so, da je le-ta odziven v realnem času in se ga krmili s človeškim posredovanjem. Interakcija človek-računalnik poteka ob podpori odprtokodnega programskega orodja reacTIVision, ki omogoča zajem slik preko spletne kamere in razpoznavo namenskih značk in njihovih lastnosti, kot so položaj, kot zasuka in identifikacijska številka. Te lastnosti posreduje našemu programu, ki jih uporabi za modulacijo zvoka. Program za generiranje zvoka uporablja pet oscilatorjev, ki generirajo signal različnih oblik. Seštevek dobljenih signalov je možno obogatiti z efekti distorzije in odmeva. Program podpira tudi napravo za generiranje ritma.

Secondary abstract: |
We describe sound synthesis with digital signal and image processing techniques and creation of a digital musical instrument, which is able to produce sounds of various types. Requirements for this instrument are that it is responsive in real time and is controlled by human being. Human-computer interaction is supported by open source software tool called reacTIVision, which captures images via webcam. From captured images, dedicated computer program recognizes specific graphical tags and their properties, such as position, angle and the identification number. These properties are then sent to our program where they are used for sound modulation. Program uses five different oscillators for sound generation. They generate a signal of different shapes. Summed signals can be enriched with distortion and echo effect. Program also includes rhythm machine. |
