Razvoj avtoportreta od slikarstva do popularnega selfija

Abstract

Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na ženski avtoportret in zgodovinski pregled razvoja le-tega. Predstavljene so pobude za nastanek in kratka zgodovina slikarskega avtoportreta, kjer je izpostavljena vidnejša ženska predstavnica Frido Kahlo. Sledi opis pomembnejšega obdobja med letoma 1920 in 1930, ko Germaine Krull, Ilse Bing in Lotte Jacobi uspe preboj in se začnejo profesionalno ukvarjati s fotografijo. Polaroidna kamera in ulične kabine so predstavljene kot vzor današnji tehnologiji. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da se predstavitev samih sebe v javnosti zaradi razvoja tehnologije in pojava družbenih omrežjih razlikuje od tistih v preteklosti, vendar bi lahko prve fotografske avtoportrete zlahka primerjali z današnjimi. Primerjali bi lahko tudi pobude za nastanek avtoportreta, vendar so današnji selfiji povezani predvsem s sprejetostjo zunanje podobe in ne izkazovanjem boja ter moči, kot je bil glavni namen Fride Kahlo in fotografinj v 20-ih in 30-ih letih prejšnjega stoletja.

Secondary abstract:	The dissertation thesis focuses on female self-portrait and historic overview of its development. There are initiatives and short history of self-portraits in paintings presented where focus has been on one of the most important female representatives Frida Kahlo. A description of a more important era between the years 1920 and 1930 follows when Germaine Krull, Ilse Bing, and Lotte Jacobi had a successful break through and started with their professional career in photography. Polaroid camera and street photo booths have been presented as a role model for today's technology. It has been discovered that presentation of ourselves in public differs from those in the past because of the technology development and appearance of social networks. However, we could easily compare the first self-portraits with today's self-portraits/selfies. We could also compare the initiatives for self-portraits. However, today’s selfies are connected with people’s accepting of appearance and not to show power and fight which was the main purpose of Frida Kahlo and the photographers in the 20s and 30s of the previous century.
