Abstract
Diplomska naloga z naslovom Izkoriščanje okoljskih danosti za izvedbo naravoslovnih aktivnosti pri delu v oddelku podaljšanega bivanja v okolici OŠ Karla Destovnika Kajuha Šoštanj je sestavljena iz dveh delov, teoretičnega dela, ki zajema pedagoški, psihološki in geografski sklop ter empiričnega dela. Oba dela se med seboj povezujeta in nadgrajujeta. V teoretičnem delu smo podrobneje opisali različne oblike varstva učencev v devetletni osnovni šoli, poudarek smo dali oddelku podaljšanega bivanja, njegovim dejavnostim in ciljem. Predstavili smo predmet spoznavanja okolja in njegove vzgojno-izobraževalne cilje. Poglobili smo se v učiteljevo delo v oddelku podaljšanega bivanja in učencem, ki prostovoljno pristopijo vanj. V geografskem sklopu smo podrobneje predstavili zgodovino šolstva v Šoštanju ter celotno mesto Šoštanj. V empiričnem delu smo interpretirali opravljen intervju z vodjo oddelka podaljšanega bivanja, go. Heleno Urh, na Osnovni šoli Karla Destovnika Kajuha Šoštanj, intervju smo interpretirali kot čistopis s podkrepitvijo uradnih podatkov s spletne strani osnovne šole. V intervjuju smo se poglobili predvsem v dve dejavnosti podaljšanega bivanja, sprostitveno dejavnost in dejavnost ustvarjalnega preživljanja prostega časa. S pomočjo le-tega smo hoteli ugotoviti, ali učenci in učitelji v oddelku podaljšanega bivanja izkoriščajo naravne danosti mesta Šoštanj za izvedbo naravoslovnih aktivnosti. Zastavili smo si štiri hipoteze, med njimi smo eno ovrgli, ostale pa potrdili. Na podlagi analize intervjuja smo ugotovili, da podaljšano bivanje na osnovni šoli poteka organizirano, učitelji podaljšanega bivanja upoštevajo in uresničujejo vse cilje dejavnosti, mesto Šoštanj ima dovolj primernih objektov in prostorov za izvedbo naravoslovnih aktivnosti, vendar pa jih učitelji in učenci na omenjeni osnovni šoli ne izkoriščajo dovolj oziroma učitelji podaljšanega bivanja učencem ne ponujajo primernih naravoslovnih aktivnosti, ki bi jih lahko izvajali zunaj šole.

The thesis titled Exploiting natural resources in the surroundings of primary school Karel Destovnik Kajuh Šoštanj when executing natural science activities in organised after-school care is composed from two parts; a theoretical part, which includes pedagogical, psychological and geographical set, and an empirical part. Both parts are linked and complementary to each other. In the theoretical part we described in detail different forms of pupils' day-care in a nine-year primary school, the emphasis being on the organized after-school care, it's activities and goals. We presented the subject of learning about the environment and its educational goals. We have deepened into the teachers work in the after-school care and the pupils who voluntarily enrol. In the geographical set we have explained in greater detail the history of schools in Šoštanj and the entire city Šoštanj. In the empirical part we have interpreted an interview with the head of the after-school care department at Primary school of Karel DestovnikKajuh in Šoštanj, Mrs Helena Urh, we have interpreted the interview as a clean copy with the consolidation of official data from the primary school's website. In the interview we have focused mainly onto two activities of the after-school care, the relaxing activity and the creative leisure time activity. This helped us to determine whether the pupils and teachers in the after-school care department use the natural features of Šoštanj to carry out natural sciences' activities. We have set four hypothesis, of which one was disproved, others confirmed. Based on the analysis of the interview we found that the after-school care at the primary school is organized, teachers of the after-school care consider and realize all activity goals, Šoštanj has enough suitable objects and room to carry out natural sciences' activities; however, the teachers and pupils of the said school do not use them enough. Furthermore, the teachers of after-school care do not offer their pupils appropriate science activities that could be implemented outside the school. |
