Abstract

Magistrsko delo se ukvarja z evalvacijo i-učbenika za 4. razred osnovne šole, pri čemer se osredotoči na vsebino merjenja količin mase in časa. Najprej je v teoretičnem delu predstavljeno e-izobraževanje, e-učna gradiva in podrobneje e-učbenik. Kot posebej učinkovito učno gradivo opišemo interaktivni učbenik (i-učbenik), ki je poseben primer e-učbenika, odlikovan z visoko interaktivnimi učnimi elementi. Podrobneje opišemo i-učne enote, ki nastopajo v i-učbeniku in so namenjene samostojnemu učenju učencev. Drugi del teoretičnega dela prikazuje in predstavlja metodiko merjenja in merskih količin, ki so povezane z njim. Sledi empirični del, kjer smo uporabili kavzalno-eksperimentalno metodo, podrobneje pedagoški eksperiment. Zanimal nas je vpliv uporabe i-učbenika v praksi, natančneje pri pouku matematike. Izbrali smo kombinirano izobraževanje, saj smo kombinirali tradicionalne učne oblike in metode dela z e-izobraževanjem. Naš raziskovalni vzorec sta sestavljala dva oddelka 4. razreda osnovne šole. Primerjali smo torej rezultate skupine, kjer so učenci obdelali učno enoto z uporabo i-učbenika (eksperimentalna skupina) in skupine, kjer so učenci predelali snov po klasičnem (tiskanem) učbeniškem kompletu (kontrolna skupina). Pri postopku zbiranja podatkov smo opisali potek pedagoškega eksperimenta in delo v posameznih skupinah. Predvsem nas je zanimalo, ali bo eksperimentalna skupina boljša kot kontrolna. Ugotovili smo, da je eksperimentalna skupina po šestih urah matematike finalni preizkus znanja rešila bolje (za 14 %) od kontrolne skupine, kljub temu, da na inicialnem preizkusu znanja med skupinama nismo zaznali statistično značilnih razlik v znanju. Sklepamo lahko, da poučevanje merjenja s pomočjo i-učbenika pripomore k boljšemu razumevanju in da je primerno za uporabo in poučevanje v osnovnih šolah.

Secondary title: EVALVATION OF THE I-TEXTBOOK FOR THE 4TH GRADE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL - CONTENTS: THE MASS AND TIME
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis deals with the evaluation of the i-textbook for the 4th grade of primary school, focusing on the content of measuring mass quantities and time. The theoretical part firstly presents e-education, e-learning materials and e-textbook in its details. As a particularly effective courseware we describe an interactive textbook (I-textbook), which is a special case of e-textbook distinguished by the highly interactive learning elements. We closely describe i-learning units, which appear in i-textbook and are designed for autonomous student learning. The second part of the theoretical work shows and presents the measurement methodology and the measurement quantities that are associated with it. That is followed by the empirical part, where we employed a causal-experimental method, or more precisely, pedagogical experiment. We were interested in the impact of the practical use of an i-textbook, specifically in mathematics. We chose the combined education, since we combined traditional teaching methods and e-learning methods during the work. Our research sample consisted of two departments of 4th grade pupils in primary school. We therefore compared the results of the group where learners accomplished a learning unit by using the i-textbook (experimental group) and the group where learners were learning their subject with the help of a classic (printed) textbook kit (control group). In the process of collecting data, we described the course of pedagogical experiment and work in individual groups. We were particularly interested in, whether the experimental group will be better than the control group. We found out that the experimental group, after the six hours of learning mathematics, accomplished their final examination much better (14 %) than the control group, although we did not detect statistically significant differences in knowledge between the two groups at initial examination. We can therefore conclude, that teaching measurement by using the i-textbook, contributes to a better understanding and that it is appropriate for the use and teaching in primary schools.
