diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študija
Abstract

Renovation of the process supplying the assembly line |
Secondary abstract: |
The system of slender manufacturing is one of the ways how, in the processes, we can eliminate many of the costs and irrelevant parts of the process, which do not contribute any value to the final product. It is only relevant to accurately analyse all the processes and then seek appropriate solutions that the slenderness is offering to us.
In this thesis we studied the supplying of the assembly lines with the final packaging in the observed company. Although the existing system works and enables the supply of lines, it has a major deficiency since the conveyors that carry out the supply of lines have a lot of free time during the working hours. This used up time does not bring the final product any added value and should therefore be shortened or dismissed entirely. In the thesis we thus found the solution of the existing situation in the form of the transition to electronic kanban that, ultimately, has proven to be effective, as the productivity of the conveyors drew near to 100%, by, indeed, reducing their numbers. |
