Abstract

V diplomskem delu obravnavamo spletne portale, velike podatke, tehnologijo Liferay za razvoj spletnih portalov in značilnosti pametnega mesta. Praktično je prikazana vzpostavitev delovnega okolja v integriranem razvojnem orodju Eclipse in opisana implementacija primera portala za pametno mesto, ki je temeljila na razvoju portletov in njihovem vključevanju na portalno stran. Na implementiranem portalu smo generirali velike količine podatkov in izvajali testiranja hitrosti shranjevanja podatkov v podatkovni bazi MySQL in MongoDB ter testiranja velikosti tabel. V zaključku smo analizirali rezultate testiranj in ugotovili, da shranjevanje velikih količin podatkov močno poslabša zmogljivost in delovanje portala Liferay.

Secondary title: Analysis and use of Big Data in the case of a portal for Smart City
Secondary abstract: The diploma work presents web portals, Big Data, Liferay technology for developing web portals and features of Smart City. Practically shows the setting up of the working environment in an integrated development tool Eclipse and describes the implementation in the case of a portal for Smart City, which was based on the development of portlets and their integration in the portal page. On the implemented portal were generated large amounts of data, performed the speed tests of storing data in the databases MySQL and MongoDB, and tested the size of the tables. In conclusion, we analyze the results of tests and found that store large amounts of data decrease capabilities and performance of Liferay Portal.
