Abstract

Vsako podjetje, ki se je kdaj soočalo s krizo v poslovanju, ali pa ni uspelo realizirati želene stopnje rasti, se je znašlo v situaciji, ko obstoječ način poslovanja za podjetje ni bil več optimalen. V takih situacijah je podjetje prisiljeno poseči po spremembah. Ena izmed večjih sprememb v podjetju je lahko prenova podjetja z metodo prestrukturiranja. V diplomskem projektu predstavljamo krizo podjetja, njene značilnosti in razloge zanjo, ter metodo prestrukturiranja, kot zdravilo za izhod iz krize poslovanja. Opisujemo tipe prestrukturiranj, ter njihov vpliv na posamezna področja ali oddelke v podjetju, ki so predmet prenove. Prav tako predstavljamo misli številnih avtorjev, ki so to tematiko v preteklosti obravnavali podrobneje, kar nam pomaga pri lažjem razumevanju prestrukturiranja v praksi. Kot praktični primer prestrukturiranja podjetja navajamo podjetje Ptujska klet d.o.o., ki se je na polovici prejšnjega desetletja odločilo za tak korak v želji po izhodu iz krize in obnovitvi ponovne rasti. V empiričnem delu naloge podrobneje analiziramo poslovanje opazovanega podjetja skozi posamezna obdobja, v katerih je potekalo prestrukturiranje in osvetljujemo načine, na katere je podjetje izvajalo prestrukturiranje. Prav tako predstavljamo izdelano SWOT analizo podjetja po končanem prestrukturiranju. V sklepnem delu naloge analiziramo in ovrednotimo prestrukturiranje v opazovanem podjetju, ter izpostavimo njegove pozitivne in morebitne negativne učinke.

Secondary abstract: Any company that has ever faced crisis in business, or failure of realizing the target growth rates, has found itself in a situation, where the existing way of doing business for the company, was no longer optimal. In such situations, the company is forced to make changes. One of the major changes in the company may be renewal of the company with a restructuring method. The diploma project presents a company crisis, its characteristics and reasons for it, and a restructuring method, as a medicine for solving the company crisis. We are describing different types of restructuring and their impact on specific areas or departments in the company, which are under renewal. We are also presenting thoughts of many authors, who discussed in the past this topic more detailed, which can help us to better understand restructuring in practice. As a practical example of the restructuring of the company, we are giving the company Ptujska Klet d.o.o., which has in the middle of the past decade, decided to take such step in its desire to emerge from crisis and restore company’s growth. In the empirical part of the project, we analyze business processes of the observed company through several periods in which restructuring took places, and highlight the ways in which the company has implemented restructuring. We also present a SWOT analysis of the company after the restructuring.
