Abstract

V zadnjem desetletju je povezovanje bližnjeslikovne fotogrametrije in računalniškega vida prevzelo vodilno vlogo pri 3D modeliranju objektov. Velik napredek so tako doživela programska orodja, ki omogočajo pridobivanje prostorskih podatkov iz niza fotografij, posnetih iz različnih perspektiv. Iz pestrega nabora programskih orodij, ki so danes dostopna na trgu, smo si za nalogo izbrali program Insight3D, da bi ga preizkusili, ker z njim še nimamo praktičnih izkušenj. Glavni cilj naloge je spoznati se s programom Insight3D ter izdelati 3D model izbranega objekta, v četrti ravni podrobnosti (LOD3) po standardu CityGML. Na začetku naloge so na kratko opisane teoretične osnove, na podlagi katerih deluje program Insight3D, sledijo navodila za izgradnjo 3D modela, največji del magistrske naloga pa obsega obdelava fotogrametrično zajetih podatkov ter opis težav, s katerimi smo se soočili pri uporabi programa Insight3D. Na koncu smo primerjali še tri programska orodja, ki delujejo po istem principu in so med uporabniki najbolj priljubljena. Geometrično točnost izdelanega 3D modela smo ocenili na podlagi fotogrametričnih meritev dolžin na izdelanem 3D modelu in geodetskih meritev teh dolžin v naravi.

Secondary title: Using Insight3D to produce a 3D building model
Secondary abstract: The leadership in object 3D modeling was in the past decade taken over by integration of close range photogrammetry and computer vision. Major progress was achieved in the development of software tools, which enable obtaining spatial data from series of images taken from different perspectives. In order to gain new experience, Insight3D application was chosen to be addressed in this master’s thesis out of the rich set of software tools available on the market. The main goal of this thesis is to get familiar with the Insight3D application and to build a 3D model of the selected object in fourth level of detail (LOD3) according to the CityGML standard. The beginning of the thesis contains a short theoretical background about the Insight3D application mode of operation, followed by the instructions for building a 3D model. The largest part of the thesis comprises of the photogrammetrically captured data processing and the description of encountered difficulties while working with the Insight3D application. Finally, we compared three software tools that work according to the same principles and are the most popular among the users. Geometric accuracy of the 3D model was evaluated based on the photogrammetrically built 3D model and geodetic lines measurements.
