diplomsko delo
Abstract

ANALYSIS OF CRITERIA FOR THE EVALUATION OF LIGHT POLLUTION |
Secondary abstract: |
The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of existing criteria to minimize the effects of light pollution in our ecosystem. We focused mainly on the Slovenian requirements and the requirements of CIE for a wider part of the world. In Slovenia, the primary measure of power is connected to the surface and allowed power consumption for lighting per capita. Also, the analysis has shown that there are options to limit or even reduce the environmental impact of artificial light pollution, while delivering cost-effective and energy-saving benefits. However, the requirements and standards around the world vary considerably, so it is necessary to examine and optimize this by using refined measurement to find a common language so astronomers as economists and technicians. Towards the end we have to show by choosing objective criteria. The thesis was then completed with a simulation of the selected portion of the program ReluxPro and found that the current share of the luminous flux on the surface is significantly lower with the use of lamps with LED technology from their previous sodium lamps. |
