Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo opisali operacijski sistem Android in sloje platforme Android. V naslednji fazi smo predstavili strojno opremo, ki smo jo uporabili za preizkus aplikacije. Nato je sledil opis razvoja mobilne aplikacije Android, katere namen je zajemanje in označevanje podatkov o hoji uporabnika. Predstavljeno je tudi delovanje senzorja žiroskopa in pospeškometra, ki sta bila ključna za delovanje aplikacije, ter senzorja GPS, ki je ključen za prikaz lokacije uporabnika. Aplikacija je bila testirana in uspešno deluje na Android različici 4.3 (telefon Samsung Galaxy SIII) in najnovejši Android različici 5.1.1 (telefon LG Nexus 5).

Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we have described the Android operating system and the layers of Android platform. In the next phase, we have presented the hardware we have used for testing the application. Then the description of the development of Android mobile application aimed at capturing and tagging user’s walking data has been given. The operation of the gyro sensor and accelerometer has been described, which has been crucial for the functioning of the application and the GPS sensor, which is essential to detect the user's location. The application has been tested and has been successfully working on Android version 4.3 (phone Samsung Galaxy SIII) and the latest Android version 5.1.1 (phone LG Nexus 5).
