Abstract

Vsaka stavba z leti potrebuje prenovo.

Secondary title: ǂThe ǂstudy on the possibility of energy renovation of heritage building
Secondary abstract: Every building needs renovation after a certain period of time. The present trend is to make buildings as energy efficient as possible. The minimum requirements are laid out in the Regulation on Efficient Use of Energy in Buildings - PURES 2010. This regulation prescribes the appropriate design of a building and building envelope in order to achieve the lowest possible need for heating and cooling of buildings. The best possible energy renovation of a building assures a better energy efficiency class set out in the energy performance certificate that has become obligatory when selling and letting a building or its individual unit. My thesis is a study on a single-family house designated as a listed building. In order to renovate a listed building, a protection approval is required as set out in the Cultural Heritage Protection Act (Slovenian abbreviation “ZVKD-1”). Therefore, energy renovation has to be adjusted to the requirements of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia. I have selected four options for the energy renovation of the studied building. The most important factor determining my selection was a protection arrangement that applies to this building. Using the programme TEDI I calculated values of thermal conduction of construction units. I compared the selected options in regard to values of energy required for heating per annum. The values were calculated with the programme TOST. Which of the proposed renovation options is the most appropriate depends on an investor’s needs for rooms, desired energy efficiency, and on the fulfilling of cultural heritage protection conditions.
