Secondary abstract: | According to the opinion of some experts the additive manufacturing or 3D printing will change manufacturing industry, because any individual could print their own model according to his or her wishes. In this graduation thesis some of the additive manufacturing technologies are presented. Furthermore in the production of house scale model in 1:100 is presented, starting from modeling to printing. Special attention is given to postprocessing of the building model elements using unique approach with customized seams on building elements that enable faster and more reliable 3D printing of house scale models. It also describes the requirements for the production model in SketchUp and restrictions on printing technology with fused filament fabrication. There are also presented problems that I encountered while printing on the faculty printer. |
