Abstract
V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni koncepti avtomatske identifikacije. Poudarek je na črtnih kodah, njihovem namenu, pomembnih zgodovinskih trenutkih, pomenu za industrijo in sodobno življenje ter njihovem nadaljnjem razvoju. Podrobneje smo se posvetili formatom UPC-A, EAN-13 in Code 128 ter opisali in primerjali njihove algoritme, parametre, ter omejitve.
S pridobljenim znanjem smo v jeziku C# v razvojnem okolju Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 po izbranem modelu razvoja programske opreme, načrtovali in izdelali namizno aplikacijo za generiranje črtnih kod, ki uporabniku omogoča generiranje in shranjevanje črtnih kod iz poljubno vnesenega niza, ki ustreza parametrom izbranega formata.

Secondary abstract: |
This Bachelor's degree thesis presents the concepts of automatic identification. We focused on barcodes, their purpose, important historical moments, their meaning for industry and modern life, and the future of their development. We have further dedicated ourselves to understanding three specific barcode formats, UPC-A, EAN-13 and Code 128. We described and compared their algorithms, parameters and limitations.
With the use of acquired knowledge, by the steps of a selected software development model, we designed and implemented a desktop application for barcode generating. The programming language used for this application is C#, in Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 development environment. The application allows the user to generate barcodes and save their image, from a generic input string, that matches the parameters of a selected format. |
