Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Naravoslovne didaktične igre v vrtcu je praktično delo, ki ga sestavljata teoretični del in zbirka preverjenih didaktičnih iger. Za ta naslov diplomskega dela smo se odločili, ker je naravoslovje področje, s katerim se otrok v predšolskem obdobju vsakodnevno srečuje, hkrati pa je igra otrokova osnovna potreba. V delu smo pojasnili pomen naravoslovja v predšolskem obdobju, posamezna področja in teme naravoslovja, ki jih obsega predšolski Kurikulum in možnosti aktivnega vključevanja otrok vanje. Našteli in opisali smo tudi različne postopke, preko katerih lahko vključimo naravoslovje, in kakšno vlogo ima pri tem vzgojitelj. Sledi poglavje o igri, njenem pomenu za otroka in njegov razvoj, vrstah in delitvi iger ter podrobneje o didaktični igri. Na koncu so na kratko opredeljene še naravoslovne didaktične igre. V praktičnem delu je oblikovana zbirka naravoslovnih didaktičnih iger, ki so jih pripravili študentje programa Predšolska vzgoja na PeF Maribor, in sicer v okviru predmeta Didaktika spoznavanja naravnega okolja v študijskih letih 2012/13 ter 2013/14. Poudarek zbirke je na analizi didaktičnih iger in opredelitvi možnosti razvoja sposobnosti in spretnosti, ki so pomembne za celosten razvoj otroka, nekatere pa še posebej za naravoslovno področje. Končna ugotovitev dela je, da so didaktične igre zelo dober pripomoček za učenje, pri čemer otrok preko igre z največjo motivacijo razvija vrsto sposobnosti in spretnosti.

Secondary title: Didactic Science Games for Kindergarten
Secondary abstract: This thesis with the title Didactic Science Games for Kindergarten is a practical thesis that consists of a theoretical part and a collection of reliable didactic games. We decided for this title because children in their pre-school period daily encounter themes and topics from the field of science. At the same time play is a child's basic need. The thesis explains the significance of science in the pre-school period, individual fields and topics that are part of the pre-school curriculum, as well as possibilities of actively involving children in them. We listed and described different procedures that help kindergarten teachers include science into their daily activities. This chapter is followed by a chapter on games and play and their importance for children and their development, different sorts of games, and, more specifically, didactic games. At the end there is a short description of science didactic games. In the practical part of the thesis one can find a collection of science didactic games that were developed by the students of the Pre-school Programme at the Faculty of Education in Maribor as part of their Didactic approaches for Natural Environment teaching class in the years 2012/13 and 2013/14. The emphasis of the collection is on the analysis of didactic games and defining the possibilities for developing abilities and skills that are important for the integral development of children. The final findings are that didactic games are a good learning tool where children develop many different skills and abilities through play.
