Abstract

Ljudje se vsakodnevno srečujamo z infografikami. Prisotne so na spletnih straneh, časopisih, reklamnih panojih, v prometu itd. Problem se pojavi, kadar želi neizkušeni posameznik samostjno izdelati infografiko. V diplomskem delu sem natančneje analizirala teorijo vizualizacije podatkov, infografike in hevristike ter po spletu identificirala brezplačna spletna orodja za izdelavo infografik. Izmed slednjih sem za nadljno raziskavo izbrala tri, v katerih sem izdelala infografiko, jih med seboj primerjala ter ocenila po hevrističnih načelih. V zaključku sem glede na rezultate hevristične evalvacije podala mnenje ter izmed treh eksperimentalnih brezplačnih spletnih orodij izbrala najprimernejšo za izdelavo infografik.

Secondary abstract: People see infographics every day. They are present everywhere: on web pages, in newspapers, on billboards, in traffic etc. The problem occurs when an inexperienced individual wants to create an infographic. In my thesis I closely analysed the theory of data visualisation, infographisc and heuristic. I also identified some free online tools for creating infographics. For the detailed research I chose three free online tools and used each to do an infographic. I compared and evaluated selected online tools according to the heuristic principles. In the last part I presented my opinion about these three tools and according to the heuristic evaluation I chose the most appropriate one.
