Abstract

Secondary abstract: |
New approach to career guidance in Slovenia, mainly based on choice and individual activities of people with special needs, held a parallel with the implementation of inclusive education as a result of the new Act on the placement of children with special needs. The new paradigm in the education of persons with special needs, which emphasizes the ethics of justice, which places the emphasis on individuality, their rights, dignity and primacy of their own making. This is also a key basis for career decision-making, which are no longer a central part of advisers and teachers in decision-making of individual career but resposibility of each individual who has the teachers, counselors, information on the Internet and parents who are basically drivers for its decision-making for education, employment or vocational rehabilitation. Thus, it becomes an individual activity-including people with special needs and individual initiative of its key contemporary process of vocational education and career guidance. |
